Cove Table Lamp

Sculptural, textural and quietly dramatic, the Clay & Kin Cove Table Lamp creates a strong decorative presence through its stacked ceramic form, handcrafted detailing and richly layered grey finish.

The ceramic base is formed from three rounded sections stacked vertically to create a distinctive sculptural silhouette. Each ridge and fold is individually refined by hand, giving the flowing vertical texture a more natural, organic character rather than a perfectly uniform machine-made appearance. These subtle variations celebrate the hand-finished process and give every lamp its own crafted personality.

The surface is completed with a reactive crackle glaze in layered grey tones. During firing, the glaze develops natural variations in colour, crackle pattern and surface depth, highlighting the hand-refined contours of the ceramic base. As a result, no two pieces will appear exactly the same, making each Cove Lamp visually unique.

The deep grey palette gives the lamp a grounded, sophisticated character, while the rounded stacked form and flowing ridges soften the overall silhouette. Paired with a charcoal faux fur Drum shade with TC lining, the tonal combination creates a cohesive contemporary look while introducing an additional layer of softness and tactile texture.

When illuminated, the shade gently softens the light to create a warm, atmospheric glow that contrasts beautifully with the darker exterior. Measuring 60.5 cm high × 32 cm in diameter, Cove has a substantial decorative presence suited to living room side tables, console tables, entryways, hallway furniture, larger bedside tables, home offices and reading corners.
